Matchmaking by Dr. Lida is a boutique Matchmaking and Dating Coaching venture for relationship-ready professionals. Instead of algorithms or swiping, I focus on truly getting to know each client and making intentional, curated introductions based on values, lifestyle, and long-term compatibility. 

Matchmaking removes the overwhelm, confusion, and randomness of online dating. Instead of sorting through thousands of profiles, you have someone who does the vetting, screening, and curating for you.  I meet with every potential match virtually to get to know them, evaluate compatibility, facilitate the introduction, and support you throughout the process. 

For paid clients, matchmaking also includes personalized coaching before and after dates, feedback from both sides, and structured follow-up to help you understand how each connection is unfolding. This level of insight and support does not exist on dating apps—and it allows the process to feel intentional, grounded, and human rather than transactional or chaotic. 

I work with single men and women ages 25 to 80 who are professional, relationship-minded and financially secure and seeking a more intentional and personalized path to partnership. Many of my clients are based in the Washington DC and Northern Virginia Metro Area, and I also work with select clients in other major cities when the search is appropriate and feasible.

I also serve professional neurodivergent singles and individuals from multicultural backgrounds. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and deeply personalized. I take time to understand each person’s values, lifestyle, communication style, and long-term relationship hopes so that introductions feel aligned, meaningful, and thoughtfully curated.

It is a complimentary and confidential database of relationship-minded singles who may be considered as potential introductions for my paid matchmaking clients. Database members are not “clients,” and I do not actively search on their behalf, but I may reach out if their profile aligns with what a paid client is seeking. 

A paid Consultation Call is not required to join the complimentary Singles Database. You are welcome to add your information and remain in the database without scheduling a call. However, individuals who complete a paid Consultation Call often receive priority, simply because I have a better understanding of their background, relationship goals, and what they are seeking in a partner. 

I offer two types of paid Consultation Calls: 

• 15-Minute Brief Paid Consultation Call:
  A very brief introductory call to review my services and gain a general understanding of your situation. 

• 60-Minute Paid Discovery Call:
  A comprehensive consultation designed to explore your dating history, relationship goals, and current challenges in greater depth. This session allows time for a more personalized discussion so we can clarify what you are seeking and determine whether Matchmaking or Dating Coaching is the most appropriate path forward, along with tailored next steps.

Whether or not you choose to schedule a paid Consultation Call, you are welcome to remain in the complimentary Singles Database. However, because I have more insight into individuals who complete a call, they are generally given priority when I look into potential alignment with a paid Matchmaking client. 

Joining the complimentary Singles Database offers visibility only. Database members may be considered as potential introductions for my paid Matchmaking clients, but they are not actively searched for, and they may or may not be contacted. It is a passive way to be on my radar in case your profile aligns with what a paid client is seeking. 

Becoming a Matchmaking Client is a fully guided, high-touch experience. I proactively search for aligned partners on your behalf, meet with every potential match online, and facilitate each introduction with care and intention. Matchmaking clients receive personalized coaching, feedback before and after dates, support in navigating early interactions, and ongoing communication throughout the entire process. It is an intentional, structured, and deeply personalized approach designed for individuals who are truly ready to invest in finding a meaningful, aligned partnership. 

Matchmaking is an investment that reflects the extensive time, care, and customization involved in conducting a truly thoughtful search. Every match requires behind-the-scenes work such as sourcing, screening, meeting with potential matches online, curating introductions, and providing coaching, feedback, and ongoing support throughout the process. Packages vary based on the level of search, the scope of criteria, and the amount of guidance and involvement a client desires. A Consultation Call will help determine which service, if any is the most aligned fit for your goals and readiness. 

No. Human connection cannot be guaranteed, and matchmaking is not a promise of a relationship. What is guaranteed is a thoughtful, structured, and intentional process rooted in clarity, discernment, and aligned introductions. 

Timelines vary depending on your preferences, criteria, and the availability of aligned singles. Most clients work with me over several months as we clarify goals, complete the search, and support early dating. 

Yes. I work with clients in the DC Metro area as well as other major cities, based on their criteria and the feasibility of the search. 

Dating Coaching offers personalized guidance to help you understand your dating patterns, refine what you are looking for, and approach relationships with more confidence and clarity. Sessions may focus on communication skills, mindset, boundaries, emotional readiness, and real-time support around early-stage dating. It is a thoughtful, hands-on process for individuals who want structure and insight into Dating.

A guided two-month program designed to help you approach online dating with clarity, confidence, and intention. Throughout the Bootcamp, you will receive support and real-time feedback in the following areas: 

• Creating or refining an online dating profile that authentically represents you 

• Selecting photos that highlight your personality, lifestyle, and natural energy 

• Crafting a bio that feels aligned, genuine, and appealing 

• Learning how to respond to messages in a way that feels clear, engaging, and comfortable 

• Understanding how to move from messaging to meeting in a grounded and intentional manner 

• Receiving ongoing guidance, structure, and support as you navigate modern online dating
